Sound designer, music maker & Performer

Jacobe is a Copenhagen based sound designer, composer and performer working across sound, music and visual expression.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre and Performance Making (Sound) from The Danish National School of Performing Arts, her practice grows out of hands-on exploration and a strong DIY approach. She works intuitively and experimentally, creating worlds through sound, texture and movement.

Her work circles around themes of belonging, Identity, transformation and memory, often inspired by biological processes, emerging technologies and the discovery of materials. Visual sketches, textile explorations, small digital works and animations are all part of her praxis.

Jacobe is interested in the space where music, performance and visual storytelling meet, and in making works that feel tactile, playful and alive.
